The Resorts

The Hakuba valley boasts a total of 12 resorts with more than 120 lifts combined.
Hakuba Goryu (pictured above) is the closest resort to the lodge and can be reached on foot or by a free shuttle service. Goryu is connected to Hakuba 47 at the top and one ticket will let you use both places..
Hakuba Happo is to the right (skier's left) of Hakuba 47 and is one of the biggest resorts in the area.
Sunosaka is a great family resort with beautiful views of Aokiko lake.
Kashimayari is popular with the locals and has some of the best night skiing in the area.
Yanaba has a great park that is open for day and night boarding. It's one of the cheapest resorts in the area and only a 10 minute train ride away.
Iwatake is a great resort with some really fun terrain.
Tsugaike is another large resort with some amazing hiking and backcountry routes.
Norikura is great for families but also has some great steep runs best saved for powder days. Norikura is connected to Cortina
Minekata is a great family resort with a cross country ski course and snowshoeing options.
