The commercial kitchen is a joy for everyone to use. Genki-go evening shuttles to the supermarket ensures that everyone’s grocery basket stays fully stocked.
Not only are meals enjoyed here in the large dining room, but an oversized sofa, a communal computer, chilled-out tunes from the Bose sound system, a wood burning stove, and a selection of complimentary teas and coffee make this the ultimate place to chill.
When in Rome, and when in Japan, the only way to end the day is with a long hot soak in a mineral bath. Most bathing spots in Japan are public but at tabi-tabi you can reserve the bath and choose your bathing partners.
The drying room has racks, rails, hooks, and baskets to keep everything organized. The heat stays on all night to dry ski and snowboard gear. There is also a tune-up area with a bench, scrapers, iron, and screw drivers.
The traditional style living room has been modernized with a large flat screen TV, DVD player, and surround sound speakers. Although we don’t subscribe to cable TV, we do have plenty of DVDs for you to enjoy and the large wooden trunk is full of board games.
